Corporate and Environmental Responsibility
As our world changes, we must too. This is why a core value of District Design Build and Foundry Cabinet Co. is responsibility, both to our role as a business, and as members of our community, and our planet. As a design and build company, we understand that our job requires many different resources, from technology, to building materials, to land space.
To combat our impact on the environment, we aim to reduce our carbon footprint by implementing sustainable design and build practices into our process. From the beginning, we strive to reduce our waste by reusing building materials when feasible and using already recycled materials. By enforcing these practices in our process, we can help reduce the demand for new resources, conserving our planet’s finite resources while also reducing energy consumption. When waste is inevitably created in the building process, we work to correctly dispose of all materials and products by recycling or reusing materials and donating our unused supplies. Throughout the building process, we prioritize energy efficiency through using energy-saving generators and on-site accommodations.
As members of an industry that is responsible for vast amounts of carbon emissions, we take sustainability and environmental regulation seriously. One of our core values is responsibility, and we understand the responsibility we have as a business to ensure ethical practices are being used to save the planet we call home.
